The ACS-800 8 channel amplifier fault auto-changeover with speaker line impedance surveillance is an integrated controller integrates the amplifier fault changeover with the speaker line surveillance into one 19 inch 1U unit.
Description:
The 8 channel amplifier fault auto-changeover with speaker line impedance surveillance is an integrated controller integrates the amplifier fault changeover with the speaker line surveillance into one 19” 1U unit. The amplifier fault auto changeover will automatically switch into standby amplifier once there is anyone of the 8 main amplifiers failure. The switching time is within 1 second. The speaker line impedance supervision enables to supervise the speaker line open circuit, short circuit and impedance fluctuation. Each zone detection time is within 2 seconds, The amplifier fault and speaker line fault will be reminded by front panel visualized indicator, buzzer and fault contact or RS485 contact to third party system. The amplifier fault changeover and speaker line surveillance unit is design with full visual indication. There are 8 amplifiers working status indicators, green of normal, yellow of standby and red of fault and distinguished of non-used. There are 8 speaker lines monitoring status indicators, green of normal, yellow of standby and red of fault and distinguished of non-used. There are 8 line inputs from audio sources and 8 line outputs to main amplifiers, 8 100V inputs from main amplifiers and 8 zone 100V outputs to speakers. One total fault output, one RS485 output to inter-work with third party system. Dipswitch to enable or disable the monitoring. Various supervision period selection through rear panel dipswitch. One calibrate button on front panel to initialize or calibrate each amplifier and speaker line setting. Speaker line impedance surveillance is of10% fluctuation. Expandable from 8 zones to max 192 zones. 24V DC operation system.
