Backgroud:Macau Polytechnic University, founded in 1981, was formerly known as the Polytechnic Institute of East Asia University. It was renamed Macau Polytechnic Institute in 1991 and officially changed its name to its current name on March 1, 2022. The abbreviation "UPM" or "MPU" is a public, multidisciplinary, application-oriented university in Macau.
